Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort: the characters you can meet right now
Pumpkins, costumes, and just the right amount of spooky: Halloween season is underway at the Disneyland Resort. From Mickey as a magician to Jack Skellington and a full lineup of villains – here's who you'll meet, where, and how long the season runs!
Halloween season has arrived at the Disneyland Resort. From August 21 through October 31, it's all pumpkins, costumes, and characters in their spookiest best. Plaza de la Familia runs a little longer, sticking around until November 2.
Disney California Adventure Park
Over on Buena Vista Street, the classics are dressed to impress: Mickey Mouse appears as a magician, Minnie turns up in a flapper dress, Donald goes full devil, Daisy becomes a witch, and Goofy takes on scarecrow duty.
Cars Land transforms into "Radiator Screams," where Lightning McQueen, Mater, Cruz Ramirez, and Red the fire truck show off their most creative car-stumes.
Hollywood Land hosts "Mickey's Trick and Treat" at the Disney Theater, a stage show starring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy with original Halloween songs and special effects. At Paradise Gardens Park, the "Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia" bring the musical world of "Coco" to life.
Disneyland Park
Along Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Clarabelle Cow, and Chip 'n' Dale sport brand-new Halloween attire complete with harlequin motifs and frilled collars and cuffs.
At the Royal Courtyard in New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington and Sally are holding court. Near the Partners statue, elaborate character pumpkin displays are on show, featuring the likes of Buzz Lightyear, Roger Rabbit, and Chewbacca.
The villains are out in force too: Gaston, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Lady Tremaine with Anastasia and Drizella, The Queen, and the Queen of Hearts all make appearances around the park.
Hotels of the Disneyland Resort
The celebration extends beyond the parks. At Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, and Chip 'n' Dale greet guests in Halloween attire from August 21 through October 31. Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian Hotel offers two options: "Mickey's Autumn Adventures Breakfast & Brunch" with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip 'n' Dale (August 21–November 15), and "Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner" with Clarabelle, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto (August 21–October 31).
