"Ms. Fritter Demolition Derby": Disney confirms second attraction for Piston Peak
The school bus with the nastiest reputation is heading to Magic Kingdom! Disney has confirmed the second attraction for Piston Peak National Park – and it stars Miss Fritter, the feared derby queen from "Cars 3." Here's what families can expect!
Things are getting real at Magic Kingdom: at D23, inside the Walt Disney Imagineering pavilion, Disney unveiled a model that made the second attraction for the upcoming Piston Peak National Park in Frontierland official. It's called "Ms. Fritter Demolition Derby."
The name comes from Miss Fritter, arguably the most notorious school bus in the Disney universe. Fans know her from "Cars 3," where she reigns as the undefeated queen of the demolition derby at Thunder Hollow Speedway – and thoroughly terrifies the rookies.

As for the ride itself, it's a family-friendly spinning flat ride in the vein of Cars Race Rally at Disneyland Paris. The vehicles spin in circles while switching and sliding between rotating turntables. That makes the lineup clear: where the "Off-Road Rally Race" delivers the more intense experience, Ms. Fritter is squarely aimed at younger children and families.
Piston Peak National Park itself takes visual cues from real American national parks like Yosemite and Yellowstone. The land will also introduce an original character, Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore. Disney has not yet said when either attraction will open.
