Walt Disney World turns 55 in October 2026 – and the first signs of the celebration have now surfaced. A preview from the Disney Store UK gave fans their first look at the official anniversary logo along with matching merchandise.
The logo
The design is pleasantly understated yet clever: a pink "55" sits above a blue globe, and together the numbers and the globe form the familiar silhouette of a Mickey head. Below, the words "Magical Years" appear on a dark blue banner.
The first items in the collection
Three pieces have been revealed so far. A light blue T-shirt shows Mickey in his classic marching band costume, holding his hat and cane in front of Cinderella Castle, with the anniversary logo displayed prominently.
The blue hoodie is considerably more detailed: the 55th logo appears in a lighter blue, with Mickey marching at the centre among the four park icons – Cinderella Castle, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's rounded out with a Florida pennant, gold-embroidered "Walt Disney World" lettering, and the quote "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them" in white script along the bottom.
The blue ear headband goes for an allover print of park icons and character elements, including the Sorcerer's hat and Figment. The 55th logo sits at the centre alongside a dark blue polka-dot bow.
That said, expectations for the anniversary itself should stay measured: everything so far points to a fairly modest celebration without a major slate of special offerings.
