Disney Cruise Line: back to New York and new itineraries for 2027
First the mysterious coordinates, then the big reveal: Disney Cruise Line is returning to New York after a three-year absence! The Disney Wish will sail from the Big Apple starting in fall 2027 – plus there's news for San Diego, Galveston, San Juan, and the Panama Canal. Here are all the details!
It started as a puzzle: Disney Cruise Line posted six navigational coordinates on Instagram, inviting followers to meet back up the next day for a big announcement. Fans quickly pegged them as New York City, Puerto Rico, Galveston, Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral, and San Diego – and they were largely right.
The return to Manhattan
The headline: after a three-year absence, Disney Cruise Line is coming back to New York. The Disney Wish will take on seven new itineraries there in fall 2027, ranging from four to seven nights and running from late September through early November 2027.
The lineup includes a 4-night Bermuda sailing (September 29–October 3, inside cabins from $4,222), a 5-night Canada and New England run (October 3–8, from $4,275), a 6-night Bermuda and Canada combination (October 8–14, from $5,689), two 5-night Bermuda sailings (October 14 and 19, from $4,865), a 7-night Canada cruise (October 24–31, from $5,960), and a 5-night Bermuda-to-San Juan route (October 31–November 5, from $3,771). Ports of call include Bermuda, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, Boston, and Saint John.
What about the rest of the fleet?
There's plenty of reshuffling beyond New York, too. In San Juan, the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy add extra Caribbean sailings. Port Canaveral welcomes the debut of the Disney Destiny, while the Wish, Treasure, Dream, and Fantasy handle Bahamas and Caribbean routes out of Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale. From San Diego, the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder head for Baja and the Mexican Riviera, and the Disney Magic adds further Caribbean sailings out of Galveston. In Singapore, the Disney Adventure continues with new three- and four-night itineraries, and new 14-night Panama Canal repositioning cruises are planned with stops in Fuerte Amador and Colón.
When can you book?
