A brand-new daytime parade for Disneyland Park: premiering in 2028

For the first time since 2017, an all-new daytime parade is rolling through Disneyland Park! Mickey leads the way, with Genie, Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Miguel joining in – backed by more than 10,000 hours of development work. Here's everything we know ahead of its 2028 debut!

It's the first entirely new daytime parade since 2017: Disneyland Park is getting a fresh centrepiece for its daytime entertainment in 2028. Leading the procession is – naturally – Mickey Mouse and his friends.

The state-of-the-art floats will carry a host of beloved characters from across the Disney and Pixar catalogue. Among them are Genie and Jasmine from "Aladdin," Tiana from "The Princess and the Frog," Rapunzel from "Tangled," and Miguel from "Coco." The floats are designed with elegance in mind, complemented by custom-made costumes, wigs, and makeup designs. The music is bespoke too: an original score is being composed specifically for the parade.

The effort behind it all is considerable. More than 10,000 hours went into research and technical development, with roughly 225 sketches produced for the costume, wig, and makeup designs alone.

Dana Harrel, Vice President of Entertainment at Disneyland Paris, stresses that every element has been carefully crafted with passion and a lot of heart, with timeless stories that both parents and kids will adore at the centre of the creation. The parade is set to become the new anchor of daytime entertainment at Disneyland Park – a celebration of Disney's storytelling heritage across generations.
